Smith & McLaurin Ltd has a rapidly growing range of digitally printable label materials (AdaptDigi) which have been tested and approved by our extensive digital-ready customer base. These materials are available with a proprietary print-friendly digital top-coating which gives excellent transfer and anchorage of the Elektroink used in the HP Indigo WS4500 & WS6000 imaging process.
Unlike other laminators on the market we also sell Gloss, Satin and White PP label materials that do not require our customers to undertake any additional processing to make the materials digitally receptive, which in turn offers even higher cost and time savings.
Apart from being tried and tested on the HP Indigo presses we are also in the process of testing this range on other available digital printing technologies (e.g. presses from Xeikon, Jetrion, Rapid X2 etc).
Finally, within our AdaptDigi Range we can offer you alternative combinations of our digitally printable face materials with our wide range of adhesives and liners. We also undertake custom coating commissons; offer a strip-coating service and can create multi-layer constructions, based on our customers' specification.
